Bormioli Pharma launches the "Plastic Academy"
Bormioli Pharma is launching the Plastic Academy in October, a training project designed to launch young talents into the profession of plastics processing technician. The advanced training course will be held at the Castelguelfo plant, near Parma, will last a total of three weeks and has been designed in collaboration with Synergie Italia, a leading French multinational in the Human Resources sector and the fifth largest employment agency in Europe, with over 700 branches worldwide.
"As a specialised manufacturing company, we feel the need to bridge the gap between the world of education and the world of work by offering a highly professionalising pathway that can transfer high skills and knowledge of plastics production processes,' comments Debora Grieco, HR Manager of the Bormioli Pharma Group’s Plastics Division. "To do this, we wanted to combine lessons with practical learning, involving internal tutors and external specialist teachers."
"Synergie has always been committed to offering innovative, high-level recruitment and selection solutions, with the aim of building long-lasting relationships of trust and collaboration," comments Giuseppe Garesio, CEO. Synergie Italia. "In this context, academies represent a unique opportunity that allows candidates to experience company activities and processes at first hand, and companies to enhance the skills and aptitudes of candidates in a targeted pathway."
The training covers all the main topics that are necessary to fully understand the world of plastic processing and ranges from the basics of raw materials and mould design to the various plastics processing technologies and product quality.
The real value of the project is to provide participants with a solid technical basis, but also the concrete possibility of joining the Bormioli Pharma Group. In fact, on completing the Plastic Academy, the most deserving students will be offered a work contract to join the company in technical roles.
